2012

So it is a new year and I have a lot to be thankful for coming out of 2011.

~ I was able to complete my first 10K and then following that by finishing my first Half Marathon in October. I also raised $1869.00 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training. I did the race in memory of my Grandmother and in honor of a wonderful friend Kathy Dalby.

~ I started to go to a new church back in the beginning of February. I have grown in my relationship with Christ through this new church. I have made tons of wonderful friends that I know that I can call when ever I need them. I have also gotten to reconnect to old friends. I was baptized in April after becoming a member of the Church. I have a great small group that I go to once a week and then hang out with friends from church at least once a month on the weekends. There is a great group of women that I can connect with and I feel like I belong.

~ I left a job that I was not enjoying and started a new job that is different. I did not ever see myself working at a hardware store but it is fun at times. I have made some good friends and I have fun when we work together. I have also started subbing again for Anne Arundel County. I have fallen in love with teaching again through. I have also gotten a long - term job at the school that I love. I'm so excited to be able to look forward to this in the spring.

~ I have been able to welcome a new little (even though he is not little any more) bundle of joy into the family in 2011. He decided to join us 3 weeks earlier but I love him all the same. He is loved by his whole family and his aunt. He is adored by his two older sisters. I love all three of my little munchkins (nicknames from here on out: Annie: Ladybug; Gracie: Maemae; Roan: Mr. Fussy).

Goals for 2012:

1. Run 3 or 4 times a week
2. Yearly Mileage: 1,000 miles
3. Eat healthier and keep track of what I eat
4. Lose 50 lbs
5. Take a picture a day
6. Make a card at least twice a week
7. Follow through with the ESV Study Bible Plan to read the Bible in a year
8. Read 50 books
